Powering Work Based Learning for School Districts

With funding secured by the National Science Foundation, SLA Labs will launch the GIGs for Kids program with Cumberland County Schools in Fayetteville NC. Students from grades 9-12 will lead the nation in this ground breaking workforce development program delivering work based based learning programs for 5G, Aerospace, AI, Cyber Security, Cloud Engineering, IoT, Facility Management, Healthcare and Robotics.

Powering Veteran Work Groups

Starting Summer of 2024 employers will have access to connect with cleared veterans for remote, hybrid and on-site work assignments using the GIGPilot mobile platform. GIGPilot will reach over 63 military bases forming staff augmented work groups for Apprenticeships, Remote/Hybrid Work Based Learning, Job Shadowing via the Internet, Mentor-Protégé Programs and Teaming Agreements.
